With the poker buzz booming in Paris, the World Series of Poker (WSOP), in partnership with Club Pierre Charron, today reached an agreement to reinstate the WSOP Circuit in Paris from May 2020.
Club Pierre Charron and the World Series of Poker will partner for the next three editions of the WSOP Circuit in Paris. The first festival will take place from May 18th to June 1st, 2020 at Club Pierre Charron and will feature WSOP Circuit rings.
"We are delighted to be partnering with Groupe Marval to bring the WSOP back to Paris," said Gregory Chochon, WSOP Director. "We know the considerable number of poker players close to Paris and the Club's central location makes it a fantastic setting to host the WSOP Circuit."
"It's exciting to think that the World Series of Poker is back in Paris," said Gregory Benac, President of Marval. "It's a dream come true to host a world poker event such as this at Club Pierre Charron."
For each stage of the Circuit, the winner of the Main Event will receive a seat worth $10,000 in the Global Casino Championship. The Global Casino Championship is an exclusive, invitation-only tournament taking place in the USA in August, with a $1,000,000 guarantee.
